A world of museum quality stretcher bars made of first quality kiln dried fir wood.

All bars are designed so that the canvas is always a full 1/2 inch from the stretcher bar to insure that there will be no ghost impressions on the canvas. The rounded back edge reduces surface friction and allows for a smoother, tighter draw on the canvas, yielding a more even painting surface. All feature a slotted back for easy installation of cross braces.

Our cross braces fit perfectly into a slot on the heavy duty stretcher bar. Sold only with stretcher strip orders. For sizes longer than 36" please use our standard and professional cross braces for greater strength and stability. Let us know the size of the overall canvas frame and, we will suggest single or cross braces.

Note: Prices listed in US Dollars. Orders under $1000 should be purchased from a local dealer. For orders that total more than $10,000, please contact us for a discount price quote. For bars over 36", standard and professional cross braces are recommended for greater strength and stability. The cross braces price are the same as the size of the stretcher bar to which each brace corresponds. We can also custom build the bars to fit metric measurements or unique sizes.
