The Super width design stretcher bars are are made of first quality precision-cut kiln dried fir wood. They have a uniform beaded edge for forming a perfect painting support. The notched edges fit all brands that conform to the Super width dimensions of 2-3/8 inch wide and 13/16 inch deep. We recommend use of our cross braces for strips over 36", to maintain frame strength. The cross braces are sold only with stretcher strip orders. If you make an order and need braces, please let us know the overall frame size, and we will suggest specifications for braces.

For bars over 36", standard and professional cross braces are recommended for greater strength and stability. The cross braces price are the same as the size of the stretcher bar to which each brace corresponds. We can also custom build the bars to fit metric measurements or unique sizes.
